• Do I keep the sign? Unfortunately, no. This is strictly a rental service. If you’ve seen a greeting in person, they are large and you’ll be happy we store these items and not you! You are paying for the service of having us custom design your greeting, install it on site, and then remove it at the end of the rental period.
• Do you charge per letter? No. Prices start at $84 for our smallest greetings, with most happy birthday greetings costing $91. Extra charges may come for distance relative to our home base (Leslie Road/Gage Blvd., Richland), extra names or extra days. See our pricing page for details or fill out our booking form to request a quote. We can fit more graphics into a display with shorter names or nick names versus longer names.
• How much in advance do I need to order? The birthday is tomorrow! We can help! We do not print graphics based on orders, which means we can fill an order the same day if we need to, based on availability. If we can fill your order we will make it happen! Orders placed less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a rush fee.
• How long do I have the greeting? Rentals are about 24 hours. We install after 7 p.m. and take down after 7 p.m.. This means your greeting may be installed at 9 p.m. and picked up the following day at 7 p.m. - an entire 24-hour rental is not guaranteed. It could be slightly longer or slightly shorter. We schedule our route based on efficiency so you should plan to enjoy it only after you know it’s in place and expect it won’t be there after 7 p.m. on pickup day. Most installations and pickups occur between 7-10 p.m.
• Do I need to be home when you arrive? No one needs to be home and we do not ring the bell. We look for the most ideal location in your lawn for maximum visibility and we place it there. We may have to alter those plans due to tree roots, rocks, dense soil, wind or any other unexpected obstructions or issues experienced during installation.
• What if it rains? What if it snows? Greetings are waterproof and can still be installed in the snow. Plan that your greeting will be installed unless conditions are too extreme. In the Tri-Cities, “too extreme” tends to do with wind. We reserve the right to cancel or pick up the greeting early without a partial or full refund if winds exceed 25mph. Please check the forecast in the days leading up to your installation and contact us if you have any concerns.
• How do refunds work? Plans change, we get it. Please cancel 48 hours in advance for a full refund. If we are unable to set up due to severe weather, you will get a full refund. If we have issues with installing after you have confirmed you have checked your lawn prior to payment, we will refund all but $25 plus tax for the effort we invested to assemble your greeting, arrive at the lawn, and do our best to install it.
• My child has a unique name, do you have it in stock? We assemble every greeting letter by letter so we can spell anything or any custom phrase. We just cannot install anything crass since it may be seen by children.
• Can I give this as a gift? Yes! Greetings are a great gift and we can leave behind a door hanger that tells the recipient who ordered it! Greetings are especially appreciated by adults and older folks who don’t want tangible gifts or are hard to shop for. You’d be surprised how it feels to see your name in one-foot high letters!
